Every one who works with food has a special responsibility for safeguarding the health of consumers. That responsibility involves making sure that food does not cause illness, injury or any other problem.
High standards of food safety enable everyone to enjoy their food, but poor standards can lead to all kinds of harm – even death.
Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) offers accredited courses to equip food handlers with the knowledge they require. On successful completion of the course participants will gain a nationally recognised certificate.
